Welcome to our school, a vibrant primary school which inspires, nurtures and educates children’s minds and hearts.

We are inspired by Aristotle’s belief that educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all, and made this our motto.

Growing hearts and minds to learn, enjoy and succeed is what shapes our rich curriculum, alongside memorable learning experiences such as trips, workshops, visiting speakers and competitions.

Our curriculum is broad and balanced with subject specialists teaching art, music and physical education; we have a dedicated art room, library and an ICT suite. We also have an extensive extra-curricular offering which include breakfast club as well as after-school clubs in a variety of sports and activities which feed into, and are driven by, our curriculum.

We are a diverse and inclusive school, with the children at the heart of everything we do. Our emphasis is on personalised learning, with support when needed and challenges when appropriate, for all pupils, in every lesson. We have highly qualified, experienced and dedicated staff who ensure that learning is adapted to children’s individual needs.

Every child is known personally by all school staff and is valued as an individual. This allows us to be able to act immediately if the need for extra support arises, which we are able to provide through our close links with wellbeing and mental health professionals.

We offer an oasis of peace and calm in the hustle and bustle of the local area. A small, nurturing environment allows children to flourish and develop confidently in a safe space.

What you won’t get from this website is the laughter of the children, the constant movement of pupils to-and-fro their classes and learning experiences, or the smell of our delicious food.
