School Games Gold Mark

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the School Games Gold Mark for the 2023/24 academic year!

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success for the second year running!

As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded in this way.

Huge thank you to our Sports Coach Konstantina Giachnaki for applying for the Gold Mark and, as a result of her passion and dedication, ensured that we were granted the highest award.

One of the great success of this academic year has been to reach the national primary schools finals of British Dodgeball in Stoke on Trent for the third year running, after a thrilling SE Regional Finals competition where we secured third place.

We are looking forward to another amazing year!
