Design & Technology

Through the Design and Technology (DT) curriculum, we aim to give children the skills to design, make and evaluate their own products, following a design brief in a variety of contexts. We use the Kapow scheme of work, written by primary D&T specialists. It is a full scheme of work with clear progression of learning throughout KS1 (Reception to Year 2) and KS2 (Years 3-6).

Whole school topics weeks, such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), also enable children to immerse themselves in DT.
