Learning about the plant life cycle in Year 3
Year 3 are learning about plants, they re-enacted the life cycle of plants and planted a variety of seeds such as pea shoots, nasturtium, cress, and lettuce!
Roman Workshop in Year 3
Year 3 had a Roman Workshop led by Humph’s Histories. They had a jam packed day learning about the Roman Empire – from the foods they brought to Britain to their battle tactics. They even made our very own shields!
Traditional Tales in Year 2

Number Day at KGS
On Friday 7th May, Kilburn Grange celebrated Number Day in support of NSPCC. We have all loved dressing up in different numbers and shapes. We raised a total of £88.57! Thank you to everyone for donating to NSPCC to support this great day!
Fun in Reception
This week Reception have been looking at a new fairy tale story- Goldilocks and the three bears. In Maths we have begun to look at what doubling looks like and making sure we use the words such as: ‘fair’, ‘equal’ and ‘the same’ when having these discussions.
Maple class learning about the Roman Empire
Maple class have been drafting non-chronological reports about the Roman Empire. Students have researched a range of topics that they are interested in from the Roman army to Roman Gods and Goddesses. This week students have typed the final draft of their reports using a template on purple mash.
